I just finished ‘Fall of Giants’. Wow! Fabulous story, I was captivated by the characters and the history. Thank-you for writing it! I will have a hard time waiting for the second and third books! I have also read ‘Pillars’ and ‘World Without End’. Which I very much enjoyed, especially ‘Pillars’. Which is why I chose to read ‘Fall of Giants’. Have a blessed couple of years until your next book is published.

Just finished ‘Fall of Giants’ – what can I say? It has to be the best book I have ever read. Fantastic story from start to finish! As an aside, I almost felt as if my family were part – they owned a spade and shovel works in the Black Country and my research into its history has revealed that they supplied the Welsh mining industry with scuttles (a new invention) and also provided spades and shovels to the British army in the trenches. Thanks so much for such a good read – I look forward to the second one!

Dear Mr. Follett,
I don’t expect to receive your reply. I merely want to convey, how much I enjoy reading your creations. I equally enjoy reading thrillers and novels of building the church (’The Pillars of the Earth’ and ‘World Without End’. At the moment, I am reading ‘Fall of Giants’. I came to United States from Russia without speaking any English, but I have fallen in love with the language enough to attempt some writing of my own.
I truly appreciate your expressions and for me the end of your book represents a morning, until I find another master piece. So, please accept my gratitude for bringing joy into my life.

I have just finished ‘Fall of Giants’, also read ‘Pillars’. What wonderful books, I was lost in them both. How can I choose which I enjoyed most, narrowly ‘Pillars’ I think. Both gave me an insight into the actual history of the time while weaving intensely thrilling storylines. Thank you for the pleasure they gave me. I shall be seeking out more of your books.

‘The Pillars of the Earth’ is the most outstanding book I have ever read. I finished it yesterday and went straight to the bookstore to buy ‘World Without End’. You are a gifted author who held my fascination for every page. I cared so much about these characters and was so caught up in the story that I had to physically leave the middle ages to cook dinner for my children. Thank you for this gift.

Dear Mr Follett
I wanted to write to you and tell how much I enjoyed ‘Fall of Giants’ which I have just finished. With some sadness I looked up your website to discover that I must wait till next year for the next instalment! Although, i as it took me nearly three days non stop reading on holiday, I appreciate it must take a while to write!
This was the first of your books I have read. I was so impressed by the story and the historical account, I was once a history student and you brought the period alive for me again in a way text books never could! I would recommend this to students and book lovers everywhere! While I wait for the next chapter I will have to have a look at some of your previous books!
Thank you so much for this magnificent book, I was so moved by every aspect of it!

Hi Mr Follett,
I am writing to you to say what a great story ‘World Without End’ is. The characters are so strong and deep that when I finish my chapter I think what they might be doing next. I really enjoyed ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and this Is just as good. I know you probably won’t get this message, but I thank you for your great stories!

Hello Mr. Follett,
I recently finished ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and was thrilled from start to finish. Thank you for your research surrounding the lives of the people of that time. Your work taught me a lot about the times. If ever there were a story so good that I wish it were true, it would be ‘The Pillars of the Earth’.

Thanks for sharing your vast expertise and knowledge in your Masterclass. I love your website almost as much as I loved ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and am sure I will love ‘The Key to Rebecca’, which is next on my reading list. The great effort you put into the quality of your work pays off! So many books, so little time.

‘Fall of Giants’ – great novel. Keep them coming, Mr. Follett. I am 30 years old and was first introduced to your novels when ‘The Third Twin’ came out. I bought it for my dad for his birthday. I read the first 15 pages and almost did not give it to him. I asked for it back when he finished it and have been hooked ever since. I have read most of them from your first to your last. I have a few in between to still read.
All in all, I have not read any of your books which I would not read again or recommend to a friend.
Thank you for being such a great author.

Many thanks for your superb writing, my only complaint is how tired I am having sat up until 1.30 am to finish ‘A Place Called Freedom’. Can’t wait for the next instalment of the Century Trilogy.

I am almost done reading ‘Fall of Giants’ and I just wanted to let you know how much it means to me to be able to read a novel about WWI. I don’t find many, and my grandfather fought in France. It just helps me to understand better what it was like for him over there. He passed in 1992 at the age of 98. He was wounded in action and I have his Purple Heart. Thank you for bringing him back to life for me and my children.

Mr. Follett, you are my favorite author of all time! I first read ‘Pillars’ at the age of 17. Since then, my copy has been worn out from the 10 or so times I have reread it, as well as the numerous people who have borrowed it. That is my #1 favorite book; my #2 favorite of course being ‘World without End.’ I can now safely say that ‘Fall of Giants’ is my #3 favorite book of all time. I simply devour everything you have put out, and I insist that everyone I know read these books as well. I cannot wait until your next novel comes out! And let me say also, the movie ‘Pillars’ has done no justice to your writing; I enjoyed the entire series, as did my husband, but I still prefer the book. You are truly a literary genius, and perhaps if your books had been around while I was in high school, I might have actually done well in history class!

WOW. I recently read ‘Fall of Giants’ and it was so great I had to have more. I couldn’t believe I had to wait until next year. Therefore, I searched for more of your writing and found ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ and ‘World Without End’… even better! You are an awesome writer. I love historical fiction with a love story mixed in. Your stories kept me floating for weeks!!!!
