Am a HUGE fan, have listened to most of your books on tape and want to compliment you on your choice of actors which can make or break even a great story. You have the perfect combination of a terrific story, finely drawn characters (who the reader can – and does – care about) and excellent writing. Keep ’em coming, please!

Dear Mr. Follett,
I just read ‘Hornet Flight’. I live in Denmark / Copenhagen where the story takes place and was very surprised with your accurate details of our streets, places etc. Very exciting to hear about the life during World War II in Denmark and England. I will recommend the book !

Thanks for all your novels. It is always a pleasure reading them, and I am every time impatient that a new one will come out. ‘Whiteout’ is really excellent. You definitely are my favourite writer. Also, thanks to you, I have learnt to read in English and for this I am grateful too.
Thanks for this good time we can spend thanks to you.
With my best regards.

I discovered your books when living in the USA being under contract for my company. Your style was the best for me to read in English, and then I could not stop ! Back in France, I read ‘Whiteout’ also in English and gave the book to a friend/neighbor who discovered your style and loved it too.
Superb, excellent, and please go on.

Hello there, I have just read ‘Jackdaws’ and am now reading ‘Hornet Flight’ (I saw ‘Eye of the Needle’ on TV) and I am so impressed by your mastery of suspense and characters suffering great mental anguish or pain for their passions. I am an amateur writer and I wanted to say hello and great work!

I would like to thank you so much for inspiring me the way you have, you are undoubtedly my favorite author of all time. I first read ‘Pillars of the Earth’ as a sophomore in high school and it truly changed my life. I went from despising reading, to becoming an English major in college. I’m currently getting my concentrations in poetry and fiction in hopes that one day I too can write a book than will change people’s lives. I want to thank you for continuing to write fascinating novels and I look forward to reading your sequel to ‘Pillars’.
I look forward to your letters. Please write to me via the Contact page, and do see earlier letters…
If you’ve read several of my books, you might enjoy matching the first line with the title, or guessing the working title
